New York Regional Event

Over 50 alumni, grandparents, and friends in the Calvert community gathered at the home of Mr. Wm. Polk Carey '42 on December 4th for the New York Regional Event. Many thanks to both Bill '42 and Frank '38 Carey for hosting a lovely evening!

Washington, DC Regional Event

Over 20 alumni, grandparents, and friends from the DC area gathered at The Daily Grill in Georgetown on November 6, 2008, for dinner, drinks, and to reconnect with the School and each other. Alumni classes spanned from 1931 to 1996!

Second Annual High School Alumni Event

The Second Annual High School Alumni Event took place on Sunday, November 2. Calvert alumni from the classes of 2005-2008 were invited back to the School to watch a Ravens game in the Black Box Theatre and reconnect with their Calvert friends. Over 50 alumni of high school age attended the event!

2008 Phonathon

The Calvert School Phonathon took place on October 15, 20, & 21 this year. I am thrilled to report that in these three nights, over $168,000 was collected in pledges for the Annual Fund. This could not have been accomplished without the support of our dedicated volunteers. Thank you!

The Calvert School Alumni & Reunion Weekend was a tremendous success! See below for pictures from the "Remember When" Luncheon, Alumni Cocktail Party, and 25th and 50th Reunions. Enjoy!

Alumni Cocktail Party

The Alumni Cocktail Party has become a Calvert School tradition during Alumni & Reunion Weekend. Over 120 alumni of all ages came back to visit with old friends, see their former classrooms, and enjoy drinks and appetizers in the auditorium. Head Master Andy Martire '83 thanked outing President of the Alumni Association, Hill Michaels '51, for his service the past two years.

"Remember When" Luncheon

We had a record turnout for this event - 75 alumni! A wonderful time was had by all as they reconnected with Calvert friends, sang along with current Calvert students, and enjoyed a crab cake lunch.

Calvert Alumni Association
Mission Statement

The purpose of the Calvert School Alumni Association is to maintain alumni interest in and support of Calvert School and to enhance alumni involvement in the School.

Goals

The goals of the Association, a non-profit volunteer organization, shall be to:

1. render volunteer services to the School;
2. generally promote and organize activities for the general benefit and welfare of the alumni of the School;
3. promote good public relations among the alumni of the School and between the alumni of the School and the School;
4. improve the quality of life and the environment within the School community; and
5. support fundraising activities for the general benefit and welfare of the School.
